John Maxwell Ferguson Fund

John Maxwell Ferguson Fund

This capital investment fund was named in honour of John Maxwell Ferguson, who financed the relocation of Scotch College from Beaufort Street, Perth to its current premises in Swanbourne in 1904.

His vision and generosity provided a wonderful foundation for the future.

The JMF Ferguson Fund has the sole aim to build a sustainable capital base for the School - ensuring true independence and financial security for the future.

The Fund aims to achieve significant capital growth in the medium to long-term, after which large and regular contributions will be made to the School to provide for the continuation of first class education.

Future distributions from the Fund will financially support:

  • new buildings

  • land acquisitions

  • technology requirements

  • on-going development of human resources

Members of the Scotch College community who would like more details on the Fund are encouraged to contact the Director of Marketing and Business Development, on 08 9383 6832 or
